Today, after upward games, we decided to take a little road trip. We went to Bath, about an hour from our home. Emily Grace woke up from a car nap so we decided to eat at Hwy 55 in Chocowinity.
Next we made our way to Bath. We told the girls where we were going and Olivia said, "I know Bath that where showers came from." First we stopped at the visitor's center so we would know just where to go. The girls posed with the giant crab.
Our first stop was at North Carolina's oldest church. A Episcopal church that still operates today.
After looking around inside the church the girls spied a playground next to the church building.
Next we went to a Bath museum inside one of the old homes.
We explored the gardens which included races to the tree and back.
We spent a little time on the river front.
As almost always, we found one geocache before we left town.
As always we were reminded how blesses we are to to have our girls and the value of family and our time together. All in all, a great day!
