There's Something about Harry

By and large, we are a Disney family. We would occasionally make our way over to Seaworld but that is about it. Last year all of that change. Addison became acutely acquainted with a young boy named Harry Potter. She read the entire series of books last year and so it is that we visited his home at Universal Orlando. And so it is that we spent the morning with Harry and a little bit of time at Jurrasic World (Olivia's favorite of the Universal attractions).

These two decided to brave Escape from Gringotts. It was an impressive cue and an impressive ride.

These animatronics were awesome.

The Hogwarts Express

The Hatching of a Dinosaur Egg

Emily Grace got to name this baby girl dinosaur. She named her Henry.

This is what a cross between Emily's DNA and Dinosaur DNA would look like.

When it came time to return to the park this afternoon we decided that everyone needed rest. There was no protest.

By the time evening arrived Olivia and Dad decided to look around Disney Springs a little more.

EPCOT

It is always difficult to get pictures from rides so this is mostly just pictures of us being a family. This is the manatee at The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Very often it is the simple things that get our attention

Dancing and Singing in the Rain

Today was the first day in the Disney parks in earnest. We began the day at The Magic Kingdom and it lived up to its name. If you are an experienced or just a smart Disney Park attender this will be your first picture at the parks.

We encountered on of Olivia's favorite attraction right out of the gate, The Dapper Dans.

We went streight to the Big Thunder Mountain Mine Train. We were able to catch it with less than a 15 minute wait. The back lighting was so bright that I took the opportunity to take some very close shots of very excited faces.

Next we went over to Pirates of the Caribbean and then to The Jungle Cruise.

Then over to the Tiki Room

The Little Mermaid

It's a Small World

And then home for a lunch and a little break

Back to the Magic

We took in Philharmagic  - obviously in 3D

These girls are about to brave Space Mountain

After this it was ice cream and The Haunted Mansion and then it hit. A huge storm. We made our way to the hall of Presidents and I was very suspicious of how Disney would handle Donald Trump and I have to say I was proud of they offered repect both to President Trump and to the Office of the President of the United States.
