A Few Details

We noticed while we were at Myrtle Beach, that the air conditioner on the car would cut out for 10 minutes or so and then eventually come back on. Not a good prospect for a hot Florida August sun. We tried to get it worked on there with no luck, when we returned we took it in to Joe Pecheles Honda in New Bern. "Probably needs freon," everyone said. But that was not to be the case, a new clutch would be required to fix the problem.

We knew we would be pushing it to make the trip to Florida on our current tires as well. It would most certainly make it but we would just have to replace them when we got back anyway. So, we got some new Yokohamas which are 70,000 mile tires.

We also got me a new key fob which I never had for this car (though Megan did have one). This makes a huge difference when you are walking toward the car with children in tow.

The good news is that the car seems good to go and that these tires only have to be rotated every 5,000 miles - the bad news is that we have way less money to spend on vacation because of it. Oh well, we take the bad with the good - we are very blessed either way.
