Extraordinary Times in Ordinary Places

Today was a family day. As simple as they come. We woke up and decided to go to the museum. We went to Marbles Children's Museum in Ralegh.

The girls love this place. They always have.

This is a hands on pretending kind of place. Vet Addison saves a Basset Hound.

Emily helps Addison analyze a Basset Hound X-ray.

Farmer Olivia helps sort pig food.

Addison put piglets up to mama sow.

I won't caption every photo but you get the idea. (this is Emily Grace with a boat by the way - oops hard habit to break).

I took this picture because sometimes our girls do this tongue thing when they are concentrating on something. I don't know where they get it.

Next, to lunch at the food court.

Next, we stopped at Pullen Park.  It was a good park when we started going to it; now it is a very well done, very classy park.  We love this too.

There was nothing amazing about this day but time and again Megan and I talked about what a great day it was. I hope we never forget it and I hope for many days like it in the life of our family.
