So long Choo Choo City

Today we woke up to a beautiful day, temperatures in the 70's instead of 90's. We hung out until lunch. This was the view while I had lunch with my favorite person.

Emily Grace discovered that our yard had a pear tree.

The other girls were not far behind and picked their own pears.

We went into town and went here first.

Lots of hands-on fun.

Addison plays the electric drums.

Olivia designed and made a scarf for Hank.

Addison boards Thomas

Then remembers she has to buy tickets first.

Emily plays on a huge Thomas layout.

We walked over to the DUCK tours, or at least some of us walked.

Both of these girls like to quack.

Emily Grace and Addison got to drive the DUCK on the Tennessee River.

On the DUCK tour we learned that moon pies were invented in Chattanooga so we stopped at the company store.

Then across the road to Sticky Fingers.

Then next door to The Cupcake Kitchen.

Next it was time for home and an earlier night. And with that we say, so long to Chatanooga.

The sunsets on Chattanooga and is beginning to set on our vacation.

We Will miss these old mountains. We will not miss the Way Megan got motion sick every time we went up or down Lookout Mountain.

Tomorrow we start toward home. We will only get a little over a third of the way but we will be on our way.  Until then we are still on vacation and don't you forget it.

More to come ...
