There will not be much to report on this the first day of our trip. American Airlines, who booked our flight themselves, booked a flight out of New Bern with a 45 minute layover in Charlotte. However, when we reached our gate (after running through the airport) for our flight to Liberia, Costa Rica they had shut the doors and would not open them.
So, we had a relaxing night in Charlotte. We had three rooms, shuttle, and meals at the Airport Sheraton all courtesy of American Airlines.
