Today was a travel day although we didn't have to travel nearly as far as yesterday. We arrived today at Port Orleans Riverside Resort at Disney. We would not go to Disney World today we just wanted the girls to be able experience the atmosphere of a Disney Resort.
Disney has got it down when it comes to checking in to one of their resorts. We checked in online a few days ahead. First thing that morning I received a text that they were expecting us. When we had just arrived I received another text letting us know that our room was ready along with room number and directions. Our magic bands opened the door into an freshly cleaned room.
Let's face it. I'm a member of a sorority - surrounded by girls and I will always be doing what girls love to do. So today began a lot of time spent following little girls around who were shopping. "This is gorgeous," "Oh I love this," and on and on it goes.
Next we toured around the facility. . .
We took a boat ride . . .
. . . then stopped to eat
We went swimming . . .
Not going to say much about this at this point but it should be pointed out that so far we have seen a lot of these signs and we even saw wildlife patrol boats - but i bet you can't guess what we have not seen - no not one. I will let you know if that changes.
We toured around . . .
We roasted marshmallows . . .
We played at the park . . .
We hung out in the lobby . . .
We ate yet again . . .
Megan, Addison and Emily Grace went to a movie on the lawn - Olivia and I got tired.
Emily even got chosen to be the director!
Then finally to bed with everyone! Awesome!
