A Memory Made

Today was a Disney Studios kind of day.  That means that we spent time at Disney Junior live, The Little Mermaid, and Toy Story. It is hard to take pictures in all of these but here is Emily Grace watching her favorite - Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

The girls took the opportunity between shows to meet some of their dear friends in person.

And time to play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground.

You probably know, but I am an MBA. It never leaves you.  So, I am fascinated with the many ways that people make money.  My girls have taken to collecting flattened pennies.  This machine takes 51 cents and gives you a flattened penny.  This one does not even plug in - no electricity costs.  And get this, there was a line at almost every machine.

There were a couple of moments today.  One was in the Frozen sing along.  Our girls really did get into it and they know all of the words. It really was moving to see the girls participate and were taken with the characters.

The other moment was mostly for me.  I got both of my girls to ride the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster. Addison particularly loved it.  She can't wait to ride it again.  Olivia liked it too and is looking forward to experiencing parts of it with her eyes open.

This afternoon - as it has been with every afternoon - the rains came.  Today it came in a big way.  We went to our dinner reservation in a downpour.  We thought we would eat while the rain dissipated. It did not, it rained until we went home.  We walked around in the pouring rain for hours. It didn't seem fun at the moment but already it is a memory, we have already talked much of it and we shall never forget it.

It is a memory.  That is what we are her to make.
