Day three would include the trip home but there was some time in the morning before we had to be at the airport. There was rain in New York so we elected to go to the New York Museum of Natural History.
Then to the airport where we also had dinner while we waited for our flight.
We were concerned with the flight after our last experience but this time every leg went off without a hitch.
We loved our trip to New York, we loved the birthday celebration, and we loved the experience with our girls. With all of that said,we all could not wait to get back home because for all of the fun, we knew that we were not a complete family. We knew this was the way it had to be - Emily Grace could not yet comprehend such a trip - but we all missed her terribly.
We were glad to be reunited with her and the truth is that we will not likely take another trip without our entire family except for our annual anniversary trip (which is a discipline and an important one). One thing is for sure, we love our family.
