Relaxing with a New Hobby

Day one began on the beach since this town got its name from the beach and all. Our girls only get to ride a golf cart at church from time to time - so to have one at your finger tips really does make getting there half the fun.

The girls have asked for boogie board every since they saw a kid using one at Fort Macon a week or so ago. They did fully embrace the concept.

After the beach it was back to the pool.

You never know what is going to connect with kids at any given time. At Disney we were surprised to find that the girls could not get enough of Spaceship earth - a ride that kids aren't suppose to like in a park kids aren't suppose to like.

Today, the girls figured out that they could catch little fish in the pond next to our rental house using some butterfly nets they brought from home. Every since their first whiff of success they haven't been able to get enough - already they have hours invested in their new hobby.

Emily Grace was unimpressed with this new pursuit but did take time to smell the roses.

After a dinner break and some dessert (ice cream sandwiches) it was back to fishing.

The sun eventually set on one of many days that we hope will never end.
